New training approach

My approach/method focuses on developing balance and axis during a dancer's training.

The approach views all the traditional ballet exercises as exercises
to build a dancer's balance, axis, and stability.

An additional instrument for improving a dancer's training is proposed
with this method. This instrument is the concept of the engaged SL.

The concept of the engaged SL clarifies the purpose of turnout in ballet.
The nature of the turnout and the concept of an engaged SL are identical
and have the same purpose. Both serve dancers with extra balance, axis,
and stability.

A strong body axis also makes an aesthetic statement. What the
spectator's eye perceives as a ballet dancer's grace and beauty emanates
from the absolute and noticeable presence of inner balance and a strong
axis in the dancer's body.

The method provides dancers and teachers with a framework for
understanding the proper use of the turnout and proficiency in the
execution of all ballet steps.
